What do I send? You can send ANY Barbie (or friend by Mattel) in Mint condition dressed especially for a Xmas Eve party!
It is up to you to make the doll as attractive as possible - you can buy the outfit, swap dolls and outfits around or make the outfit -
but it must be something that you would love to get yourself, should be in mint and clean condition, well presented. Pink box dolls are
fine to send as we know Xmas is an expensive season but please make an effort to customise her into something special by redressing
and possibly adding an accessory and a Christmas card to your swap partner!
Who do I send to? You should receive your swap partner by now via private message in the ABC Forums from DebbieFS.
What do I say when I register? Answer these simple questions to help your Doll Swap partner make your xmas eve nice!
- What is your name and address?
- What do you post as on the ABC Doll Club Boards?
- What dolls do you normally collect?
- What is your fave mattel doll?
- What is your fave colour?
- What type of fashion/hair colours etc do you like most?
When do I post? You must ensure dolls are posted by the 18th December (Thursday).
When can I open it? We should all be opening the same evening - after 6pm on xmas eve - so start posting your pics and
thank yous at this time - if you cannot open at that time exactly you should open as soon as you can after that time (even if it
happens a day or so late - we know you may have committments etc - it can happen any time after the due opening time and date but
you need to acknowledge the gift at some stage)
Time differences? Just use the base time of 6pm no matter where you live - it makes life interesting doesn't it?
BUT PLEASE - when you commit to this you need to follow through - if you commiting to this and then changing your mind
may mean a doll will have to be purchased to send instead so and you will be requested to pay for it.
Please DebbieFS know via the ABC Doll Forums -
1. That you have rec'd your doll swap partner's name
2. That you have sent your swap out and
3. That you have received your doll swap in the mail - so that if there are any hiccups I can sort them out!!
