Registration requirements - Registrations are available only to ABC Doll Club members. Delegates must be 14 years or above as at 31st March 2009. Any non-member wishing to attend Convention must pay an additional $30 for ABC Doll Club membership. Membership applies to the year it is submitted and is due for renewal in December of that same year. Registrations will be accepted from 1st June 2008, registrations postmarked prior to this date will not be accepted. Delegate numbers are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first in, first served basis. Delegate Fee - The fee per delegate is $290. This entitles the delegate to two lunches, one dinner, and all entertainment and activities. The delegate will have access to raffles, the competition room, table gifts, workshops and admittance to the sales room. Each delegate will have the option to participate in the fashion show as well as the opportunity to be a table host. A deposit of $80 may be paid, the balance, payable in installments, due by 31st March 2009. Early-bird Payments - Delegates making payment in full by 31st July 2008 will qualify for a special bonus Convention gift. Convention Doll - The Convention Doll will be an exclusive, limited edition doll and will be restricted to one doll per delegate. The cost of the Convention Doll is $90 and the final date for doll orders will be 28th February 2009. A deposit of $50 may be paid, the balance, payable in installments, due by 28th February 2009. Payment - Payment may be made by cheque, money order or direct deposit, please see the Registration Form for details. If paying in installments, you will be contacted to arrange the frequency of the payments. Celebration Dinner Guests - As numbers will be strictly limited at the Saturday night dinner, places for guests may be restricted,. Your guest's name will go on a waiting list and may be allocated a place if one becomes available, on a first in first served basis. Payment of $60 will be requested from you if your guest is allocated a seat. Accommodation Rates - The Amora Riverwalk Hotel is offering delegates a range of rates from $180 twin/triple share to $280 5-share townhouses. Please contact the hotel on (03) 9246 1200 or 1800 339 436 to arrange accommodation, quoting booking reference C-ABC1505. A limited number of rooms of varying types (single/twin/triple share etc) have been set aside for convention delegates. It is essential that the booking reference is quoted when making your reservation in order to obtain one of these rooms at the convention rate on offer. This accommodation hold is effective until the 13th February 2009 after which time any remaining rooms will be made available to the general public. Full details of accommodation types and rates will be in the delegate booklet. When booking your accommodation please be sure to check the hotel's cancellation policy. Room-mates - Please let the ABC Doll Club Convention Committee know if you would like help with being paired with a room-mate to share the accommodation cost. Use the Convention email address, convention@abcdoll.org, or see details in your delegate booklet. Doll Competition - Details regarding the Doll Competition will be available on the Convention website from 1st June 2008 and will also appear in the July/August 2008 issue of the ABC Doll Club newsletter. These details will also be in your delegate booklet. Workshops - There will be a range of exciting hands-on workshops available, at a nominal cost, where you will be able to learn new skills and take home whatever you have made. Details of the workshops and their booking will be in your delegate booklet. Other Information - All other details regarding the Saturday night fashion parade, travel information etc... will be in your delegate booklet which will be sent during or before October 2008. Refund policy - Delegates should advise of cancellation by letter or email before 1st March 2009. Cancellations made before 1st December 2008 will forfeit $40 of the registration payment/deposit. Cancellations made between 1st December 2008 and 1st March 2009 will forfeit $80. After 1st March 2009 no refund will be available. No refund will be offered on the Convention Doll.
